The Book of Love

The library park is where the story of Ruby and Rath begins. Library park is always closer to the heart of people who are bookaholic and it was the same with Rubi. Crosspath of the park's footpath was very exciting and perfect for Rath to get himself into shape and category of fit people. Rubi and Rath crosspath is where both of their hearts touch each other's soul.

Rubi has some really different flavors of books. She used to read books of crimes, dark comedy. She hates to read romantic and biography books. Though the library of the park had more shelves and less books. Rubi knew that her choice of books would end soon and she decided to end the visit to the park too. Rath always concentrated on his fitness as he was a state level. Also, books were not his cup of tea. So, he never looked up in the library. A day was soon near when the Rubi and Rath crosspath was going to happen.

Finally the day was here when Rubi genre books were done but she decided to have guts and go against her choice and read the romantic books of legendary writers. But she decided to read it on the benches of the park until the book is finished because of the fresh wind blow, sunset and laughs of children at the park. One day she started reading a romantic book on the park bench. Rath was sprinting on the footpath of the park. He stopped and took a look all over the park for a seat to sit with high inhaling and wiping the sweat out. Then he finds a space on Rubi's bench; he walks to her bench and settles himself. Rubi closes her book and keeps it on a bench between herself and Rath. Rath also keeps his bottle at the same time. This clash of time results in the fall of a bottle as well as a book. Rubi and Rath bend to take their things. She keeps her book in the same place, Rath is about to leave the place to return to home while leaving he keeps a note on the book.

A note with the message, "Dear Rubi, it was you who always made me come to this park. You won't remember me as it has been 5 years since our schooling ended and I left the school 8 years back. Then you were my crush and when I shifted to your area… it was the time when you always knocked my heart whenever I saw you.."

She keeps the note on the page in the book where the bookmarker was kept and smiles. Next day she waited for him in the park but he didn't turn up that day in the park. Day after again she waits for him, this time he comes to the park but late. He picks her on his bike in a hurry without letting her utter a single word. He takes her to a restaurant and it was her birthday.

She asks him, "How were you so sure that I'll come with you today?"

he replies, "yesterday I was in the park observing you by hiding!"

she utters, "I usually come to the park to read books!"

"But you were not reading a book yesterday and today the book is missing in your hand.."

She smiles and he hugs her….
