I can’t believe what I saw, I mouth falls open seeing her. She was looking just so stunning, her hair was different and her face was glowing. She was looking just perfect and I have never seen her like this and that dress, it was pretty but the way she was carrying it, oh my god. I can’t get my eyes off her and for once I could feel this Adeline rush through my body. I felt a weird sensation in my body like I have never felt before for anyone, not even for Anaya, It’s weird but feels good. Suddenly she pulls me out of my thoughts and asks me about how she looks. I was speechless; I don’t have words to describe of how fabulous she looks, all I could say was “Different”, and all I could think was, how much her change affects me. She got confused and ask what I meant with different. I know this was not the answer she expects but I am speechless and I can’t think of anything else but her. I disrupt my thought and decided to give her proper answer to her question. I told her that she looks amazing and I haven’t seen a girl so beautiful before. She blushed at my answer and gave me nodding smile explaining me how much time she took to get ready and she was nervous about wearing heels as she has never wore them before. I laughed at the thought of her struggling with heels but seeing her like this, no one can say that it’s her first time wearing heels.

After few minutes of talking I realised we have to go back to the party as Amaya might be looking for me. So, I ask her to come with me to the party, I offer my hand and she accepts. I lead the way to the hall holding her hand and as we enter the hall, all the eyes were looking at us or it was her they were staring at, like they were seeing an angle fall from heaven. I took her directly to Anaya. Seeing her like this whole class got shocked that this was the same girl they were bullying a day before but at that moment she was a princess who everyone wants to be friends with.

I reached the drinks counter and ask for three club sodas and wait for the drinks to serve. I turned around to look for the girls and all I could see was this was this beautiful girl who is also my best friend. I took the drinks from counter and went back to the girls and gave them their drinks. As I was about to take a sip from my drink, the song changes and a slow dancing song plays. Amaya got exited and literally drags me to the dance floor. I left my glass on a side table and goes with her, as we were dancing, she told me something that bummed me out for few seconds. She told me that her father is getting a transfer and she will be leaving town with her parents so she won’t be here for junior and senior year. I stopped dancing as words came out to her mouth. I don’t know what to say, I felt weird as it’s not bothering me the way it’s supposed to. I was feeling a loss of friend, like my friend is moving and it’s not affecting me much. I told her that we would be fine. I smiled at her and told her not to worry and we will still be friends even if you leave. She was okay with my response and was hoping the same for me. At that moment I realised that it was just a thought of her that makes me happy but the time spend with her wasn’t that much fun.
