She is the only girl I have ever met who shops so quickly and makes its fun, I mean it took us only 30 minutes to buy all the stuff and she is so good at bargains that she bought most of her stuff at half rate. I dropped her off at home later after having dinner at her favourite street food vendor.

In few days, the prom night was there and I was so excited and happy to get be there and see Adhira in that dress. This was so unusual, I had a girlfriend who I really liked but my most of the thoughts were about a girl who was just a friend to me. I decided to pick Amaya first, so we can spend some time alone before party. I went to her house to pick her up and as soon as I rang the doorbell, the door opened and there she was standing. She was looking really good and I loved her dress, it was a black off shoulder gown and her hair were tied in a tight bun. She was looking like someone’s going to walk in a fashion show. She smiles seeing me in tux and offer me hand. I took her hand and compliment her on her looks and then take her down the road where my car was parked. I opened the door for her and she slide down to the passenger seat. I closed the door and went for the driver’s seat and sat down. As I start the car, my phone rang and Adhira’s name was flashing on the screen. I answered the call and told her that I’ll be there any moment but she interrupted me and says that her dad want to drop her to school and she will be running a bit late as she was having problem with dress and makeup. I nodded in agreement and told her to take her time and we will meet her directly at school. I hang up the call and told Amaya that we don’t have to pick up Adhira and we can directly go to prom from here. She smiled and nodded and gave a sweet kiss on my cheeks. I blushed for a second and then started the car to reach to prom.

I parked the car in parking lot, step down the car and rush to open the door for Amaya. I offer my hand and she takes it to step out of the car, I close the door behind her back and ask her to lead the way. I followed her to entrance and there were some of our classmates holding camera to click the pictures of all the couples at entrance. I took her hand in my hand as out photos were clicked and then we head to the party. Moment we enter the hall, everyone one was dancing or eating or talking. It was a great party and I had already begun to like it. I asked Amaya for dance and took her to the dance floor. We were dancing only when I saw some guys were talking about a girl and that she looks amazing and they were talking like there is some new girl in school that we don’t know about. I didn’t notice much because the only person I wanted to see at that moment was Adhira. I asked Amaya to get me something to drink till then I will make a phone call and come. She agreed and went to get drinks for us. I found my way outside the hall, took out my phone and dialled her number. She didn’t pick up my call in first two try so I dialled her one more time and it kept on ringing, I decided to give up when suddenly she pick up at last ring. She asked me loudly where am I and there was a loud music coming from back. I realised she has reached the school and looking for me so without thinking I hang up and went to the party to look for her. I looked at dance floor, at drinks, at food court but she was nowhere to be found. Where can she go in such a short time so I decided to go check the only quite place in this school where she can probably be, I went to look for her in library corridor and found her near a window where she usually comes when she wants to find peace. I was looking at her back and I could tell she was wearing the same dress I bought for her and called her name out. She turns back and smiles as soon as she saw me and start walking towards me.
