I took a step back in my thoughts and decided to cherish her innocence for one last time. I gave her the coat and ask her if she wants to grab a meal before going home. I knew she was hungry because she didn’t have anything at party as she was nervous of the crowd and dress she wore. She agreed in seconds and asks if we can have big belly burger. I laughed at her gesture and take her to the parking lot where my car was parked. I was opening a passenger door when she stops me and suggest that we should walk instead of driving as it’s great outside. I refused her because it was cold outside and she might also get late for her curfew. She smiled and said that she already took the permission for late night and cold won’t be a problem as we are wearing proper clothes. I looked at her in shock as it’s the first time she has ever talked of missing the curfew, it was getting more fun knowing this side of her. I nodded in agreement and we start walking towards the restaurant. We walked for few minutes in silence and Adhira broke the silence by asking me if something happen between me and Amaya on the dance floor as we were sharing a intense looks. I gave a look and told her that that she is leaving school next fall and we broke up while dancing. She got shocked listening this and ask if I am alright as it might be heartbreaking for me that she is leaving me. I gave her nod and said that I will be alright and thought in my mind that it’s not a bothering me that must, the thing bothering me is how am I going to protect my girl.

We walked for about 10 minutes and suddenly she stop in between and frown; I look at and ask what happen, why she stopped walking. She looks at me says “I am sorry but I can’t walk anymore, these heels are killing my feet and now I regret of why I told you walk in first place”. I couldn’t help but start laughing in middle of the streets, she is so cute sometimes and I don’t why I find this really cute and funny. I kept on laughing when suddenly she punches my hand and gives me angry look. I stopped laughing immediately and offer her my help. She ask me what can I possibly do but I also dint know what I was supposed to do. She then advices me that I should get my car and till then she will wait of me here on street. There was no fucking way I am going to leave her in this street alone and nowhere to go. What if something happens to her, I refuse the second she suggest this and gives her an angry glare of what a stupid idea it is.

After a long pause I finally come up with the better solution and ask her take off her shoes and hop on my back. She gave me confusing looks and as expected refused to my offer. I gave her warning look and ask her hop on because its already getting late.

She makes a cute puppy face and finally hop on and to my surprise she wasn’t as heavy as I expected and I start to walk back to school. I have never carried a girl before not even Amaya because with her it was always about show off and we were more of a trophy couple then actual couple. With Adhira I can do my all the crazy firsts without any judgement and complaints and she always have being true to me than any other I have ever been with. Why is it being with her brings out the best in me and why is it I have to stop myself from protecting. Last time was different because I didn’t have realisation of my felling but now I do and it’s enough for us right now. This reason is enough for us being together and with anymore of useless over thinking I decided to go for it and let her know how I really felt. I am going say to her “I love you”.
