I have realised how much happy and free I can be before meeting Adhira. She was the change of my life. I was in 11th standard when I first met her on the first day of school I was really bordered by her. She was clumsy weird girl and so boring to fit in between the students of our class. She wasn’t very attractive or good looking but she was definitely one of for her kind. I didn’t like her much at first or maybe I didn’t like her at all because she was good to me even when I was rude to her and this was first time someone behave to me so nice. She was always lost in her Books which was so irritating. I mean can’t she just chill and have some fun.
At that time I had crush on Amaya, this popular girl of our class, she was beautiful, famous, funny and smart and had great personality. I used the love the thought of spending time with her and the best part about us was we both were so popular that no one was against us. This gave me a motivation to ask her out and to my shock she refused to date me. I get to know that she has become friends with Adhira. So, keeping my disliking for her aside, I asked her to help me date Amaya. I knew it was selfish but I was desperate. I was expecting she would refuse to help me but surprisingly agreed to help me and I realised I was too quick to judge her. When she agreed to help me, I did whatever she asked me to do and in that process I get to know Adhira so well and we became very good friends. After long efforts of 2 months, she finally helped me convince Amaya to go out on a date with me. I was so happy and thrilled of going out with Amaya.
It was weekend and I decided to take Amaya out for our first date night so, we went to watch a movie at theatre and then we ate dinner at her favourite restaurant. It was fun spending time with her but something was bothering me and I wanted to tell about this date to one special person, my best friend Adhira. After the date end, I and Amaya decided to be the couple because at that that point I love the thought of dating her. I drop Amaya at her house and as soon as I got home, I called Adhira and told her everything about my date and then asked her about her day. She told me about books she read, the songs she listened and how she spend time with her family. Talking to her is so easy that I didn’t realise that we have been talking for about 2 hrs now. After few more minutes of talking I heard her voice cracking, I realised she is sleepy so I wished her good night. As soon as we hang up the phone I could feel my eyes heavy so I went to straight to sleep.
